During the Lunar New Year Holiday, from February 14 to February 22, 2026, all Post Offices will be closed except for the National Palace Museum Post Office, which will remain open to provide services including currency exchange, philatelic services, and the sale of agency products.
While delivery and collection for parcels and letter-post items will be suspended during the holiday, in response to customer needs, Speedpost delivery—including Domestic Speedpost and International EMS—will continue as usual. Additionally, Speedpost acceptance will remain available at all post offices that operate a Postal Affairs Section, as well as those staffed by watchmen or security guards. (Please refer to the attached table for more details.) The service will also be available at the International EMS Subsection and the Air Freight Subsection of the Taipei Mail Processing Center for customers sending International EMS items.

For countries requiring ITMATT (Electronic Advance Data) transmission—including the U.S., Canada, EU member states, the U.K., Switzerland, Norway, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, Jordan, South Africa, India, Belarus, Mongolia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Argentina—acceptance of International EMS items containing goods will be suspended during the holiday.
iBoxes (with collections resuming after the holiday), ATMs, PO Boxes, and Self-Service Post Offices nationwide will continue to operate 24/7. You are welcome to use these services at your convenience.
