The Postal Life Insurance Real Estate Mortgage Loans department started to offer real estate loans in 1997. This service is not limited to Chunghwa Post proposers; anyone who qualifies for mortgage prerequisites may apply. This service is available everywhere in Taiwan with the exception of the islands of Mazu. Currently, 19 regional branch offices oversee these loans and 201 postal outlets are authorized to accept applications for such service.
