Joint Credit Information Center Credit Report Application
JCIC has cooperated with post offices for collections of comprehensive credit report and financial institution debtor listing applications at all savings & remittances windows. We welcome your use of the service.
- Limited to R.O.C. nationals or foreign nationals both aged 18 and above; applicants must apply in person at a post office.
- Application procedures:
- Fill out an " Consumer Credit Report Application " or "Financial Institution Debtor Listing Application " and apply at any post office.
- Please present two ID documents:
- Original ID card.
- Original national health insurance card, passport, driver's license, military ID, Resident Alien Certificate, household registry, Household Registration Transcript (electronic version acceptable) issued in the last 30 days, or any other valid ID documents.
- Inquiry fee:
- Applications for credit reports in Chinese:
- First application in any one year: Free of charge first time, NT$50 for each additional copy.
- Second or further applications in any one year: NT$100 for the first copy, NT$50 for each additional copy.
- Applications for credit reports in English:
- NT$200 for the first copy, NT$50 for each additional copy.
- For those who are mentally or physically disabled, unemployed, people with low income, aged 65 and above, aboriginals aged 55 and above, qualified under the Act of Assistance for Family in Hardship, people with catastrophic illnesses and victims of major disasters, the report will be free of charge whether in Chinese or in English (NT$50 for each additional copy).
- Notice:
- "Financial Institution Debtor Listing Application" only used for partake in debt pre-negotiation, if you have other purposes, please fill out the "Consumer Credit Report Application". Fill out the wrong form will affect your credit record.
- Service Hours:
- Applications are accepted during the regular savings & remittances windows business hours announced by accepting post offices; does not include post offices with extended hours and post offices with business hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
- The desired materials will be sent to the applicant by express registered mail after processing by the Joint Credit Information Center.
