All airmail from Taiwan to China will be gathered and moved to Taipei's airmail delivery center and sent on the next day via air to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou before being forwarded to other Chinese cities and areas.

Currently, postage for ordinary airmail to China is NT$9 if not over 20 grams in weight. Registered mail will charge additional NT$65, so the total is NT$74.

Estimated time of arrival for express mail is about 3 to 7 days (customs inspection time not included); 7 to 15 days for airmail, and 30 to 45 days for surface mail.

Letters sent to China can be horizontal envelopes and the recipient's address and name shall be written in Chinese on the cover.
