During the Dragon Boat Festival Holiday, starting from Jun. 8th to Jun. 10th, 2024, all Post Offices will be closed except for the office inside the National Palace Museum (National Palace Museum Post Office), which will be open as usual to provide services including currency exchange, philatelic services and the sales of agential products.
While the delivery and collection services for parcels and letter-post items will be paused during the holiday, in response to customers’ needs, mail delivery for Speedpost, including Domestic Speedpost and International EMS, will remain as usual. In addition, the acceptance of Speedpost will stay available at every post office that operates a Postal Affairs Section, and at those stationed by watchmen or security guards. (Please refer to the attached Table for more details.) The service will also be available at the International EMS Subsection and the Air Freight Subsection of the Taipei Mail Processing Center for customers sending out International EMS (Address: No.18, Hangqin North Road, Dayuan District, Taoyuan City). Please note that the above-mentioned service during the holiday will still be unavailable for people sending mail containing goods to certain destinations, including the U.S., Canada, EU countries, the U.K., Switzerland, Norway, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil and Jordan, due to those countries’/regions’ requirement to transmit Electronic Advance Data based on ITMATT.
